PFL champion in his first season. Still climbing.

Impa "Tshilobo" Kasanganay entered the PFL in 2023 and won the Light Heavyweight Championship in his first season — going 3–0 in the regular season before winning the finals and the $1 million prize. Son of Congolese immigrants, he holds a Harvard MBA and has spoken publicly about building generational wealth beyond the sport.

In 2025 he dropped to middleweight, took a loss, then came back to TKO Andrew Sanchez in the final 30 seconds of a fight he was losing. He's currently ranked #3 in PFL middleweight — and not done yet.

— Impa Kasanganay, on championship night

Open on the explosion. Close on the moment he owns it.

The brief called for a cinematic career recap — not a highlights reel. The editorial approach was built around a single arc: hook immediately, build through dominance, and close on Impa dancing. A 3-second hold that lets the viewer sit with a fighter fully in his moment.
